Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts or thighs
- 3 tablespoons of Coal Heaven Dry Rub seasoning
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup (optional to enhance caramelization)
- Juice of half a lemon
Preparation
- Place the chicken in a bowl or a sealed bag.
- Add the oil, lemon juice and seasoning. Coat well.
- Leave to marinate for 20 to 60 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Heat the barbecue to medium-high heat.
- Grill the chicken for about 6 to 7 minutes per side, until cooked through and lightly caramelized.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Tip: Add a drizzle of maple syrup at the end of baking for an even more fragrant crust and a touch of sweetness that perfectly complements the smoky notes.
