Smoky grilled chicken

A quick recipe that perfectly exploits the sweetness of maple, the smokiness of paprika and the spicy side of chipotle.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts or thighs
    • 3 tablespoons of Coal Heaven Dry Rub seasoning
      • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
        • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup (optional to enhance caramelization)
          • Juice of half a lemon

            Preparation

            1. Place the chicken in a bowl or a sealed bag.
              1. Add the oil, lemon juice and seasoning. Coat well.
                1. Leave to marinate for 20 to 60 minutes in the refrigerator.
                  1. Heat the barbecue to medium-high heat.
                    1. Grill the chicken for about 6 to 7 minutes per side, until cooked through and lightly caramelized.
                      1. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Tip: Add a drizzle of maple syrup at the end of baking for an even more fragrant crust and a touch of sweetness that perfectly complements the smoky notes.
